Jewelry Care

High-quality jewelry deserves thoughtful care.

Proper handling and maintenance help preserve the beauty, longevity, and safety of your jewelry and piercings.

Handling

  • Always wash your hands before handling or changing jewelry.
  • Handle gemstone settings and delicate designs with care.
  • Avoid using tools on solid gold jewelry, as they may scratch or damage the finish.
  • Store jewelry separately in a soft pouch or jewelry compartment to help prevent scratches and damage.

Cleaning

  • Gently clean jewelry with warm water and mild soap when needed.
  • A soft-bristle toothbrush may be used carefully around settings and crevices.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals, alcohol, abrasive cleaners, or rough brushes.

Wearing

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to perfumes, hairsprays, lotions, makeup, pools, hot tubs, and household chemicals.
  • Avoid sleeping on fresh piercings before downsizing, as pressure may irritate the piercing and place stress on jewelry.

Gemstones & Natural Materials

Some natural stones — including opals, turquoise, malachite, and other porous materials — require extra care and should not be exposed to excessive moisture, chemicals, or prolonged direct sunlight.

Professional Installation

We strongly recommend having jewelry installed or changed by a professional piercer.

Never force jewelry into a piercing. If jewelry feels tight, swollen, painful, or resistant, consult a professional piercer before attempting removal or reinsertion.

Gold Jewelry Care

Our solid gold jewelry is selected for both beauty and long-term wearability.

To help preserve its appearance:

  • avoid chemical jewelry cleaners and abrasive polishing products
  • use a microfiber jewelry cloth when polishing is needed
  • clean gently with warm water and mild soap only
  • avoid exposure to bleach, chlorine, and harsh cleaning agents

Titanium Jewelry

Implant-grade titanium is lightweight, durable, and highly biocompatible, making it an excellent option for sensitive skin and healing piercings.

Important Note

Improper handling, accidental damage, chemical exposure, and excessive force may affect the longevity and appearance of jewelry and may not be covered under warranty.
